INFORMATION FOR FUNDERS
As a charity, we rely on multiple income streams to enable us to offer accessible and affordable counselling. We fundraise for core costs and specific projects when we identify a particular need for support that our skilled team of counsellors can provide.
If you would like to fund a project at Cotswold Counselling, or if you are able to nominate us for Trust or Grant funding, please contact community@cotswold-counselling.org.uk.
GRANT FUNDED PROJECTS
Here are some of the projects we have been able to deliver due to the generosity of trusts we have partnered with:
FRIENDS OF FAIRFORD AND LECHLADE COMMUNITIES

We have an ongoing partnership with the Friends of Fairford and Lechlade Communities to provide much needed counselling support to young people aged 11-25 in Fairford, Lechlade and the surrounding areas.
The Friends of Fairford and Lechlade Communities provide funding for us to work with young people for up to eight weeks, offering a safe space for them to process emotional challenges, develop coping skills and explore the emotional impact of school and home life.
The application form for these counselling sessions and the eligibility criteria can be found on the Friends of Fairford and Lechlade Communities website here: Grant Funding - Friends of Fairford and Lechlade Communities
CHIPPING CAMPDEN COMMUNITY TRUST

In 2026, we were successful in obtaining a grant from the Chipping Campden Community Trust to offer a short-term project providing counselling to 11-25 year olds in Chipping Campden.
This grant enabled us to set up a service for young people in the area, who often go unsupported due to the remote location.
We developed a relationship with Chipping Campden School to provide their pupils with counselling support for up to eight weeks, and we have been able to offer sessions for these young people in school hours in conjunction with the pastoral team. This allows children who would not otherwise be able to access counselling support to have a space to process their emotions that arise with the challenges of life.
You can find out more about the Chipping Campden Community Trust here: Chipping Campden Community Trust, North Cotswolds
THE JACK LANE CHARITABLE TRUST

We were successful in obtaining a grant from the Jack Lane Charitable Trust to provide short-term support to young people aged 11-25 in Tetbury, Cirencester and Minchinhampton.
As we are based in Cirencester, we have been able to offer these sessions at our therapy centre.
The young people we are supporting in this project are able to access 8 weeks of free counselling as a result of this grant.
With the increasing pressures on young people, we are noticing a higher need for specialised therapeutic support. We provide a safe, confidential space for them to process their emotions with our trained YP counsellor who supports them in building up their confidence and resilience.
