WHAT IS FAMILY THERAPY?
Family therapy is a type of counselling that enables family members to express and explore difficult thoughts and emotions safely, understand each other’s experiences and views, appreciate each other’s needs, build on family strengths, and work together to make useful changes in their relationships and their lives.
A family unit is a group of people who care about each other. In family therapy, a group can consist of many different combinations of loved ones, such as parents/guardians and their children, siblings, grandparents, aunts and uncles, friends and kinship caregivers.

We offer a combination of individual sessions, couples work, parenting support and whole family therapy.
